Since you slammed the door in my face
My heart has been an empty space
I’m stuck here in this broken place
How can these memories ever be erased?
You had taken my heart
Now I’m falling apart
Our relationship was so great
Being together felt like fate
But then you gave me all this hate
I want you back; is it too late?
I want to break free
But you keep haunting me
All I feel is this endless pain
Will it ever be the same?
My heart still calls out your name
Why did you just go away?
It’s not what you meant to me
Thought we were meant to be
These memories are deep inside
Still have feelings I can’t hide
But your love washed away with the tide
And my tears will be dried
Our love is now gone
And I have to be strong
I have to carry on
