You sit there
In the corner of my mind
Open, relaxed
With that languid stare
Cruel mouth
That smiles knowingly
Holding court in that chair
Not moving
Haunting my memories
Always taking me back there
You lie there
In my mind’s eye
Naked, warm
With fist gripped in my hair
Soft lips
Bruised from kisses
The bedclothes falling bare
Not covering
Revealing my desire
Always taking me back there
You walk there
In my vivid dreams
Strong, dangerous
With an intent that scares
Eyes burning
Etching your ownership
Never breaking the stare
Not blinking
Holding me captive
Always taking me back there
You stand there
In my daily conscience
Close, far
With thoughts that dare
Feel real
Breathless fast heartbeat
Chanting my eternal prayer
Not stopping
Wishing me resurrection
Take me back there
