The Angel’s decent, strangely began…
In a random encounter with a Chinese man…
Who spoke quietly, all about his life…
The trauma, the troubles and all his strife…
About how he fought for everything…
Before he taught his soul to sing…
Steven Tyler sang as she went on her way…
“Dream on” were the words she heard him say…
“All the things, come back to you”…
Was the warning in this surreal tune…
But the Angel didn’t listen to that warning…
Her course was set until the morning…
And with the wind beginning to build…
The night air was becoming strangely filled…
With the scent of something so unknown…
And into turmoil she was utterly thrown…
As the eyes of a Demon came into view…
It was one of those moments that feels so true…
Burns down to the core of your very soul…
The spine-tingling moment you lose control…
She looked at him and he stared at her…
For just one second she would honestly swear…
There was a point of connected clarity…
And from that moment, she could not see…
Blind and powerless he led the dance…
She began floating in a half dazed trance…
Wandering down life’s darkened street…
And in an instant she felt the heat…
Of Hell’s burning flames calling out…
As her head was filled with thoughts of doubt…
But the Demon was much too strong…
She became enchanted by his sweet songs…
He held her in his powerful sway…
Through winding streets and alley ways…
He intoxicated the rain filled air…
Yet by his side, she just didn’t care…
The Demon tempted and pointed to drink…
As she began to fall, she began to sink…
The world she knew just melted away…
Reality blurred, with no hint of dismay…
As fallen Angels began setting their traps…
Under the cold moonlight, she collapsed…
And became a different version or three…
The kind she’d never let the real world see…
Jumping from one planet onto another…
It was only then that she discovered…
Something so different, something so refined…
And in a stolen moment, lips intertwined…
As the world around faded from view…
She forgot everything she thought she knew…
And whilst Hell’s fire burned bright and Red…
The Demon invited her into his bed…
But at the point of no return…
As the Devil danced and the flames did burn…
The Chinese man once again appeared…
This time older, with a Grey beard…
Said “Wait, it’s not too late,
Don’t give in and become this Demon’s first mate.
All is not as it seems,
Free yourself from this Demon’s dream”…
The words struck deep into her heart…
And she & the Demon, did reluctantly part…
When she awoke to face the new day…
She lay there wondering what to say…
It had felt like the most vivid dream…
And she let out the most silent scream…
Her soul now scarred and ripped forever…
But with little remorse as she ascended to Heaven…
The Chinese man never again returned…
But his words carried deep into her soul and burned…
Now Steven Tyler keeps singing his haunting song…
Whilst the Demon sits in Hell, where he belongs…
